Here at Victory Baptist Church, we have combined the youth of our church with our young adults to establish one ministry that will benefit and strengthen them all. It is our strong belief that proper ministry to our young people begins in the home, and that the parents are the best role model and teacher that young people could possibly have.  Too often when teaching our young people in today’s culture, churches focus more on entertainment and holding their attention than on the presentation of strong, biblical truth and application. Our goal in our Youth & Young Adult Ministry is to develop Christ-like young people who will glorify God with their lives. We believe that the Word of God is powerful and will change lives (Heb 4:12). Therefore, the Bible is at the center of everything we teach and preach.  During our Wednesday evening services our young people meet for fellowship, games, choir practice, and snacks, but most importantly a challenge from the Word of God that is applicable for our young people that will challenge them to live godly and holy lives in this present world.  Our adversary desires to snatch our young people, so we need to equip them for the battle ahead!  We try to schedule various activities throughout the year for our young people to enjoy, but that will also encourage them spiritually.
